Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Pad 7 series in China this year. It includes the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro models and is only WiFi-connected. Now, Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of the Pad 7 series globally and in India on January 10, 2025. However, information about which models of the Pad 7 series will be launched has been kept secret.
Xiaomi has shared information about launching the Redmi 7 series in January through a teaser poster, which reveals the name of Xiaomi Redmi. Soon after this, Xiaomi will announce Redmi Turbo 4 based on MediaTek’s new chipset Dimensity 8400 on January 15.
Since the Xiaomi Pad 7 is already available in China, we know its specifications. Both its base and Pro models come with only WiFi connectivity. However, according to a report, it is rumored that the Pro model in India is likely to come with 5G connectivity. It is based on Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (3nm) chipset.

Talking about the specifications of the Xiaomi Pad 7 series, let’s first take a look at Pad 7. It has an 11.2-inch IPS LCD. It comes with a 2136 x 3200 pixels resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. Pad 7 is based on Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SOC. There is a 13 MP main single camera and a front 8-megapixel camera. The tablet has an 8850 mAh battery and supports 45W wired charging.
On the other hand, the Pad 7 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. It gets an 11.2-inch IPS LCD which comes with a 144Hz refresh rate. The main camera is 50 MP and 2 MP while the front camera is 32 MP. The Pad 7 Pro is powered by an 8850 mAh battery and charges with a 67-watt charger.
