Xiaomi will soon launch the Mix Flip 2 model, the successor of the Mix Flip. Recently, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 Global version has appeared on EEC certification with the model number. Earlier we saw it certified on EEC certification with the China model number. It is reported that the Mix Flip 2 can be introduced simultaneously in China and around the world.
According to the information received from EEC certification, the model number of the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 Global version is 2505APX7BG. Its first digit shows that it can be announced in May 2025. Which can happen during the Xiaomi event.
Recently we saw the China version of Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 with model number 2505APX7BC. It has also appeared on many other certifications like TDRA and IMEI database. This proves that Xiaomi will soon announce its flip phone in the new year 2025.
What can we expect from Xiaomi Mix Flip 2?
Currently, no information is available about the features of Mix Flip 2 apart from the model number. Let us remind you that the official Mix Flip was powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor HyperOS. It is available with a 6.86-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED display and a dual 50 MP main camera.
We expect more upgrades in the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2. It could be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite or 8s Elite chipset. It will feature dual 50-megapixel lenses with high zoom and boot on HyperOS 2.0 (based on Android 15).
