Samsung Galaxy S25 Series has been launched in India and around the world. It has Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra models. Apart from this, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has been kept secret for now, it is likely to be launched soon. Before choosing the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series, there are 5 such drawbacks that the user must know.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Series is one of the most popular smartphones not only in India but all over the world. After Apple, Galaxy S25 Series devices are included in the premium brand category. But before choosing Samsung, there are some shortcomings that the user should know. So that the user should have complete clarity about Samsung before making the right choice. Let’s take a look at those shortcomings.
Battery Capacity
As the specifications of Galaxy S25 Series are available with us during its launch, all three devices have different battery capacities which is one of the biggest drawbacks. Galaxy S25 has 4000 mAh, Galaxy S25 Plus has 4900 mAh, and Galaxy S25 Ultra has 5000 mAh battery capacity. Which is much less than other flagship phones.
Compared to other flagship smartphones, a battery capacity of up to 6400 mAh is being given. Which keeps the phone alive for a long time in gaming and multitasking. But the same old battery capacity is available in Samsung. As is found in the previous Galaxy S24 Ultra series. The most important feature of the phone is the battery which helps in staying with the user for a long time.
Slower charging
The other drawback of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series is slow charging. This means that you may have to wait for hours to charge your phone. Because the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series only supports a 45W charger. Whereas Galaxy S25 only supports a 25W charger. It may take hours to charge the phone 100%.
If we talk about other flagship phones like Xiaomi, Oppo, or Vivo, then they have the facility of 100-watt and 120-watt charging. The phone gets fully charged in minutes. You don’t have to wait for hours for charging.
If we talk about the wireless charging of the Galaxy S25 series, then it supports 15W wireless charging. Whereas the Galaxy S25 Ultra device supports only 25W wireless charging. Whereas other premium smartphones have the facility of wireless charging up to 50W.
Older Selfie camera
The selfie camera of Samsung Galaxy S25 Series has a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens which is the same in all three devices. In terms of the selfie camera, Samsung has used the same lens in the Galaxy S24 series launched last year in the Galaxy S25 series. Which is the biggest drawback. If seen, other flagship phones provide selfie cameras up to 50 megapixels. Which is better than Samsung in terms of selfies.
Older Primary Camera
Talking about the primary camera of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series, this is one of the 4 drawbacks. Talking about the Ultra model of this medium, the same old 200-megapixel wide angle lens, 10 MP telephoto, 50 MP periscope telephoto, and 50 MP ultrawide lens are available. Which has been used in the previous Galaxy s24 Ultra. No changes have been made to it. Whereas iPhone has made changes in terms of camera in its flagship smartphone this year.
If we look at flagship smartphones, 50MP telephoto lenses are being provided. The Galaxy S24 Ultra was ahead in giving competition to the Vivo X200 series last year. If we talk about Galaxy S25 and S25 +, then only a 50 MP main camera, 10 MP telephoto, and 12MP ultrawide lens are installed. Which is much less than other flagships. Samsung needs to improve on this.
IP Ratings
Samsung has given titanium bead quality to its flagship smartphone but gives an IP68 rating for waterproofing and dustproofing. Which is one of the 5th drawbacks of the Galaxy s25 series. Whereas, other flagship phones provide an Ian IP69 rating along with durability. Which can do photography and videography even underwater.
Currently, we are trying to find only a few drawbacks of the Galaxy s25 series. We want the user to get the right device. We will soon share other information related to the Galaxy S25 series, stay tuned for that
