Samsung is preparing to launch an affordable smartphone of the A series this year, which is the Samsung Galaxy A36 5G. This model has already been listed on Samsung’s global website. Now the India model of the Samsung Galaxy A36 5G has been certified on BIS certification. Which reveals the Indian model number.
Samsung A36 5G India model
Samsung Galaxy A36 5G has appeared on BIS certification (Bureau of Indian Standards) with model number SM-A366E/DS where DS indicates dual SIM connectivity. However, this certification does not provide any information about the device.
This listing suggests that the Galaxy A36 5G may be launched in India soon, along with the Galaxy A56 5G model. The Galaxy A36 is said to be the successor to the previously launched Galaxy A35 5G.
Samsung A36 5G specification
According to previous leaks, the Samsung A36 5G is tipped to feature a 50MP primary, 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro, and a 12MP selfie camera. The Samsung A36 is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC or Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. It boots on Android 15-based OneUI 7. The phone is expected to support the new 45W wired ultra-fast charging and have a 6000mAh battery capacity.
After this certification, it is expected that the Samsung Galaxy A36 5G will be officially released in India in early February. Which will be one of the first smartphones of the A series at an affordable price this year. Apart from this, Galaxy A06 5G is also in the lineup, which is likely to be priced under Rs 10,000.
