Xiaomi Redmi is preparing to launch 3 new Poco series smartphones. It will launch POCO F7, POCO F7 Pro, and a new POCO F7 Ultra model in India and globally. Out of these, the Pro and Ultra models have already been certified by FCC, TDRA, and IMDA certification. Now both models have been confirmed on Indonesia’s telecom website with model numbers. It is believed that its launch date in Indonesia is near.
POCO F7 Pro and F7 Ultra have been certified on Indonesian Telecom certification, confirming model number 24117RK2CG for POCO F7 Pro and 24122RKC7G for POCO F7 Ultra. The listed model number indicates the global region.
What’s new in POCO F7 Pro and F7 Ultra
It is rumored to be introduced as the successor to the Poco F6 series launched on May 23 last year. Many upgrades can be seen in it. It is said that this year the Poco F7 series is likely to have changes in battery and camera features. Currently, the Indonesia certification does not reveal any information other than the model number.
If we look at the previous report, then according to TDRA and IMDA certification, POCO F7 Pro includes features like 5G, Bluetooth, NFC, and dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity. The phone is indicated to have a 5830mAh rated battery, 90W fast charging, and boot on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0. Apart from this, 5G NR, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.,4 and USB Type C connectivity will be included.
Talking about the POCO F7 Ultra is one step ahead of the base variant and the Pro model. It has 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 16GB/512GB storage variant options. Just like the Pro model, it will boot on Android 15-based hyperOS 2.
In the last few days, there have been speculations that this could be a rebranded version of Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro. In which Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Elite processors are used. Also, a 50 MP + 50 MP + 32 MP rear camera setup is available.
If the POCO F7 series is a rebranded version of the Redmi K80 series, then we can expect high processor, camera, and battery capacity at an affordable price. Also, a lot of attention can be paid to the design and strength of the phone. Poco launched the M7 Pro in December.
