Oneplus has announced a program regarding the Green Line Issue in which it has brought a solution to fix the Green Line problem in OnePlus. However, all mobile companies like Samsung, Vivo, Oppo, Realme, and Techno are troubled by the Green Line problem. But OnePlus has shown interest in solving this problem first. Due to this, OnePlus is in a lot of discussion in the market.
What is the Green Line Issue on Oneplus smartphones?
The green line problem is one of the biggest problems of OnePlus mobile phones. It is a green line on the screen of the mobile phone. Many smartphones have one or more green lines. These lines spoil the mobile screen experience. Green lines are not only a problem for OnePlus phones but also for other phones.
Why does the Green Line Issue appear on OnePlus smartphones?
Green Line Issue occurs due to software updates, phones falling, or phones getting wet in water. But for some time, the green line problem has been happening not only in OnePlus but also in other smartphones due to software updates. A green line problem is currently occurring with the AMOLED display.
How OnePlus will fix the green line
OnePlus has launched a “Project Starlight” campaign to fix the green line problem. Under this, OnePlus users are given a lifetime warranty on any new or old model of OnePlus. This warranty will be only for the display which has the green line issue. No charge will be required for this.
OnePlus is going to spend 2 thousand crore rupees every year from 2025 to 2028 for this “Project Starlight.”. Which will be one of the only solutions to the Green Line problem. OnePlus will spend a total of 6000 rupees to solve this problem. This project will give great relief to the OnePlus users from the Green Line problem.
OnePlus has taken three steps to solve the green line problem in this project. The first step is to add a layer of PVX edge-sealing material on the AMOLED display which prevents water from entering the AMOLED screen. This layer can further increase the life of the AMOLED display.
In the second step, OnePlus tests the smartphone at 85 degrees Celsius temperature and 85% humidity for a long time. OnePlus believes that the green line issue is not caused by a software update but due to the high temperature of the smartphone.
In the third step, OnePlus provides a lifetime warranty on any model of OnePlus, which will be offered free and without any invoice. This warranty will be only for the display.
Who will not be eligible for a lifetime warranty on the OnePlus?
OnePlus device lifetime warranty will be available for those smartphones whose phones show green lines without any reason, or the green line problem has occurred due to a software update. Apart from this, a lifetime warranty can be canceled in case of water damage, broken screen, or excessive scratches on the display. Currently, more information about this will be available in the nearest service center.
