OnePlus is preparing to launch the latest smartphone the Mini Series soon. Mini does not mean a small phone. Rather, Vivo is working on a new device similar in size to the x200 Pro Mini and iPhone 16 Pro models. It will be based on a 6.3-inch display and the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. OnePlus is showing a lot of interest in the mini smartphone. It is rumored that it is expected to be announced in the new year 2025.

Digital Chat Station, a well-known tipster on Weibo, has revealed that OnePlus is working on a small phone and says that the upcoming OnePlus Ace 5 series model may include another new model called Mini. It will have a small 6.3″ flat screen and a 1.5k resolution screen.
The phone will have a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX906) primary camera and will be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The device will not have any periscope lens. Instead, it will have a high-resolution 50-megapixel ultrawide autofocus lens. Currently, there are concerns about ultrasonic fingerprints on the device, so it is being considered to be side-mounted or in-display.
The design of the OnePlus Mini smartphone will take some inspiration from the Google Pixel 9 series. Its camera module design will be slightly different from the old round island of OnePlus. At the moment there are many questions about the OnePlus Mini device as to which variant it should be paired with. OnePlus Ace 5 Pro or OnePlus Ace 5 Pro Plus. However, all these things are rumors as of now until there is any official indication about the device.
