OnePlus recently launched its new smartphone, the OnePlus Ace 5 series, first in China, which included the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro models. Now, OnePlus has announced to rebrand it and launch it worldwide. OnePlus will rebrand Ace 5 and launch it in India and globally under the name OnePlus 13R. The company started promoting 13R on Flipkart and Amazon before the launch. It will be launched with less battery capacity than China.
OnePlus has revealed through a teaser poster that the OnePlus 13R will come with a 6000mAh battery capacity. The Chinese model Ace is available with a silicon carbon battery capacity of 6415mAh. However, the company says there is no need to compromise on the battery, as 6000mAh is as powerful as the 6400mAh battery.
OnePlus 13R Specification
We already know about OnePlus 13R that it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 gen 3 processor. It has a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED flat display with 120Hz, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support. It has a brightness peak of 1264 x 2780 pixels and 4500 nits to 6000 nits.
There is a 50-megapixel front camera and a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the rear panel. It boots on Android 15-based OxygenOS 15. The alleged phone packs a 6000mAh battery and charges with an 80-watt charger.
According to the report, UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5x RAM have been used in OnePlus 13R. It will be launched in India with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Apart from this, other variants like 512GB and up to 1TB are expected to be available.
The OnePlus 13R is rumored to be priced at Rs 44,999 in India for the 12GB/256GB variant. There is no official information available on the 13R at the moment and this is just a speculation. According to the report, OnePlus will launch both the base variant OnePlus 13 and 13R together on January 7. Many other features are expected to change before the launch.
