MediaTek has officially launched its new Dimensity 8350 5g chipset which is first present in Oppo’s new device. The main purpose of this chipset is to make gaming phones at an affordable price. However, there is not much change in its features compared to Dimensity 8300. But the new feature StarSpeed Engine has been added to this chip, which is much more powerful than Dimensity 8300 and 8250.
MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SOC Features
The key features of the Dimensity 8350 processor are that the device is capable of consuming 10% less power and delivering 24% more performance due to StarSpeed. It has Mali-G615 MC6 graphics (GPU), UFS 4.0 storage, and supports Quad-channel LPDDR5X RAM. The SoC is built on a 4nm node, performing on an octa-core with 3.35GHz Cortex-A715 prime cores. Which is capable of taking gaming to full frame and high frame rates.
The Dimensity 8350 SoC has a maximum memory frequency of up to 8533Mbps, a downlink speed of 5.17Gbps, and a 4MB L3 cache memory capacity. It supports 2G, 3G, Dual 4G, 5G Multi-Mode, and SA & NSA modes networks.
Apart from this, MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SOC supports AI (Artificial Intelligence), which is helpful in working in conjunction with MediaTek NPU 780. This chipset can support a maximum of 320MP camera or a triple 32MP camera. Which can record video in maximum 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) at 60fps
MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SOC Powered Phones
The MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SOC processor was first added by Oppo in the Reno 13, Reno 13 Pro, and Oppo Pad 3 devices. It can also be called the first device of Dimensity 8350 chipset. However, do not forget the main purpose of this chipset. Future affordable gaming devices can be based on this chipset.
