IQOO launched the iQOO 13 in India on October 30, which is based on Qualcomm’s latest chip Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and is available in India with a primary triple 50 MP camera. The company has started working on the iQOO 14 series as its successor. It is reported that in 2025 the iQOO 14 Pro model will also be included along with the iQOO 14 base variant. This information has come as a leak from Weibo’s social media in China. Let’s take a look at it.
iQOO 14 Pro’s first leak
Smart Pikachu, a well-known tipster on Weibo social media, shares some information about the iQOO 14 Pro. It says that the iQOO 14 series in 2025 will also include a Pro model that will use a Samsung-made OLED panel. This will be the biggest surprise this year from IQOO. However, it is not confirmed which display it will have.
Looking at the last launched IQOO 13, it uses an LTPO AMOLED screen which is manufactured by BOE. We expect a bigger upgrade this year which should be an OLED panel. Also, support for 1.5K resolution, and both devices are expected to have flat screens. At present, there is no confirmation of this yet.
Features of Samsung display
From previous reports, we already know that Samsung has been successful in making many types of displays which it also provides to many companies. These are very thin and light in design. Which gives a premium look to the device. These include OLED LTPO flat, LTPO micro-quad-curved screen, and LTPO micro-quad-curved panel displays which provide 1.5k and 2K high resolution.
iQOO 14 Series Processor
On the other hand, if we talk about the processor used in iQOO 14, both devices are rumored to use Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 mobile chipset processor. Which has started manufacturing by TSMC, it is expected to be launched in October. Soon after this, the iQOO 14 series is likely to be launched with a Snapdragon processor.
While chatting with the tipster, when asked about the camera of iQOO 14, the tipster suggested a periscope lens in response. This is quite interesting, although there is no exact information about which lens will be used.
