Now a new leak has revealed that the iPhone SE 4 is rumored to come with a new name iPhone 16E model. Which can be a family member of iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max launched in September 2024 last year.
Twitter x tipster Mazin Boo claims that Apple will launch the iPhone 16E in March at an affordable price. It will have A18 chipset, a 48-megapixel main camera, an OLED screen, and Face ID features. It is said to remind the design of the iPhone 14. And its availability will be only in white and black colors.
The tipster has also shared the back panel case of the iPhone 16E which is exactly like the iPhone 14 design. Its rear panel has a single camera and a flashlight. There is an action button above the volume controller. And on the other side, there is a power button. At present, the official design of the device is still a secret.
This is not the first time that the iPhone 16E has been rumored, but in December, tipster “Fixed Focus Digital” also hinted at the iPhone 16E associated with SE. If this rumor turns out to be true, then it can prove to be very beneficial for those who want to buy an iPhone but do not have the budget.
What to expect from iPhone 16E
It is rumored that the starting price of the iPhone 16E will be around $499. Which may be slightly more expensive than its predecessor. Its price in India will start from around Rs 42000. It can be officially announced in March 2025.
Apple’s iPhone 16E features the latest iPhone 16’s A18 chipset, 48MP main camera, 8GB RAM, and 3,279mAh battery. On the front, there will be a 6.06-inch (1,170×2,532 pixels) LTPS OLED panel with a maximum brightness peak of up to 800 nits. Apart from this, the device will feature Apple Intelligence and run on iOS 18.2.
