Honor has been announcing smartphones with the number series every six months of the year. Last year in December 2024, the Honor 300 series was introduced. Now news of the Honor 400 series launch has started coming. Meanwhile, a report from China reveals the big battery and design of the Honor 400 series. The Honor 400 series is expected to be released in the first half of 2025 in May or June.
The leak listed shows that the Honor 400 Ulta model will have a 7,000 mAh battery capacity and a metal frame design. Honor has so far been limited to 6000 mAh battery capacity. This could be one of the major upgrades on the 400 series in 2025.
The leak only reveals the battery capacity but the model details are still a secret. Let us remind you that the previous Honor 300 series had Honor 300, Honor 300 Pro, and Honor 300 Ulta models. Something similar is expected in the Honor 400 series.
Unfortunately, there is no confirmation of any model of the Honor 400 series. According to the report, the Honor 400 Ultra could be the top model. It should have a Qualcomm processor, a massive battery, and a metal frame. The other models could be Honor 400 base variant and Honor 400 Plus could be the model in between.
Recalling the ancestor of the Honor 400, it has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, 5300 mAh battery capacity, IP65 rated, and AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. Apart from this, the rear is equipped with a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP periscope telephoto with 3.8x optical zoom, and a 12 MP ultra-wide lens. The dual front selfie camera is also available.
