Huawei’s new HarmonyOS NEXT beta update has started rolling out for the Huawei Mate 70 series and Huawei Mate X6. Six more new Huawei devices are eligible for the beta update. Huawei Mate X6 will be available in China from December 19, 2024. It is said that the first stable update of HarmonyOS NEXT will start with Huawei Mate X6. Currently, it has been released for beta testing on the listed devices.
As shown in the picture below, the HarmonyOS NEXT beta update for the Huawei Mate 70 series will start rolling out on December 4 and for the Huawei Mate X6 from December 6. It is expected that all the devices in the Mate 70 series will get the update simultaneously. As for the HarmonyOS NEXT beta update, it starts with version 5.0.0.113 on the Huawei Mate 70. It is an 8.07GB file that downloads to the device’s internal storage and takes a few minutes to install.
