Google has launched Google Pixel 9 series this year which includes Google Pixel 9, Google Pixel 9 Pro, and Google Pixel 9 Pro XL models. Apart from this, another new member, the Google Pixel 9a, is going to be added to the Google 9 series family, which will arrive at an affordable price from other models. Before the official launch, the dummy phone of Google Pixel 9a appeared with a flat camera design. In which the front and rear panels of the phone are visible.
Below is a picture of the dummy model of Pixel 9a. Its back panel comes with a completely different design from the Nine series. It is also different from the Pixel 8a launched last year and has a flat camera island. Google Pixel 9a has dual cameras and a flashlight in the primary. In this, the new design separates the camera and flashlight compared to the Pixel 9 series. The camera models are together and are on a slightly raised circular island, and its height is around 1.2 mm.
Many renders of Google Pixel 9a have been leaked earlier with this design, which is quite similar to this. Pixel 9a Dummy Unit will be black in color and with a metal frame. High-quality glass will be used on the front and rear panels.
Talking about the front panel of Google Pixel 9a, rumors say that it will have a 6.3-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh. There will be a protection layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on it. The punch hole cut-out will have a 13 MP selfie camera. The bezels are not visible as the dummy unit of Google Pixel 9a is black. It is expected to have thin bezels and 8.5 mm thickness like the Google Pixel 9.
New features expected in Google Pixel 9a
Along with the revelation of the dummy unit of Google Pixel 9a, there are many rumors. Pixel 9a is said to have a Google-made Tensor G4 chipset and boot on Android 15. The phone will feature a 5000 mAh battery, 18W wire charger, 7.5W wireless charging, and an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.
