HyperOS is Xiaomi’s latest operating system with the most powerful AI features. It was launched on 26 October 2023. Then its next version HyperOS 2.0 was first launched in China on October 30, 2024. Now HyperOS 3.0 will be launched with new updates and new animations. This update will be eligible for those devices which have the facility of OS upgrade for 2 years or 4 years. However, some such devices have been listed that may be deprived of the HyperOS 3.0 update in 2025.
Why Some Devices Are Missing Out
HyperOS 3.0 enables features like AI features and smooth experience. It also gives great performance on high-configuration devices. This year there are some Xiaomi Poco and Redmi devices on which the update of HyperOS 3 will not be available. Nor will the update of Android 16.
As HyperOS 2 is based on Android 15, the next version will be a step ahead. HyperOS 3 will be based on Android 16. Below is the list of those deprived devices. Which can be quite disappointing.

- Redmi Note 11
- Redmi Note 11S
- Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G
- Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G
- Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G
- Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G
Xiaomi Series:
- Xiaomi 12, and older models
- Mi 11
- Xiaomi 10
- Xiaomi 10S
- Xiaomi 10S Ultra
- Xiaomi 10 Pro
- Xiaomi Pad 5
- Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro
- Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 5G
POCO Series:
- POCO X4 Pro 5G
- POCO M4 Pro 4G
- POCO M4 Pro 5G
- Poco F5 series,
- POCO X4 series, and older variants
Redmi Series:
- Redmi 10C and earlier models
The devices listed above have been omitted from these new updates due to hardware configuration issues. If any other devices are missing from the HyperOS 3.0 update, they may be listed along with these lists.
What This Means for the User
If your device is in these lists, then those devices will not get any operating system or Android updates. But security updates will continue to be available if the company releases them.
